[Pkg-xen-devel] Bug#737905: closed by Bastian Blank <waldi@debian.org> (Bug#737905: fixed in xen 4.4.0-1)
I don't believe this bug is fixed. The following line appears to carry forward the same problem to xen-4.4: --with-system-seabios=/usr/share/seabios/bios.bin http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-xen/xen.git/tree/debian/rules.real?id=1f422caa31ef3a537a1e41ce68789b6d5536b954#n79 bios.bin does not contain xen support any more (see previous replies on this bug report); bios-256k.bin must be used instead. Unfortunately, the xen-4.4 package is failing even earlier for me, so I can't even get far enough to verify. However, it seems straight-forward enough that using a seabios without xen support will cause an issue if were able to get it to run far enough to try to load the BIOS. If I can get more information on what my current issues are (and can't resolve them without code changes), I'll open a new report. But, the above change seems small and obvious enough that I wanted to point it out quickly. Thanks
