This TrippLite device (09ae:3016) is not (or perhaps not yet) supported
by usbhid-ups. Please make sure you have an up-to-date version of NUT. If

'-x productid=3016' option. Please report your results to the NUT

mailing list <nut-upsuser at lists.alioth.debian.org>.

No matching HID UPS found
Driver failed to start (exit status=1)

For a Tripp-lite SMART1500LCDT.

From this error message, it seems that you are using NUT 2.6.3, and support for
this UPS was added in 2.7.1.

The suggestion in the error message applies, although you may need to either run
the driver as root, or add an entry for this UPS in the udev files (exact
details will depend on your Linux variant).
