Smart1500lcdt will not connect with usbhid-ups
Another Update: I had to reboot my server today. After the reboot, I had the exact same problem as before without the usb hub. Since I already had the ups connected and communicating, I decided to try to figure out how to fix it. Here is what worked for me using the usb 2.0 hub sudo upsd ?c stop sudo upsdrvctl stop sudo upsdrvctl start sudo upsd Everything connected up and was

Smart1500lcdt will not connect with usbhid-ups
I talked to Tripp Lite Technical support. Their policy is that they only support Fedora and SUSE. There is no one there that could help with Ubuntu or NUT issues. The only answer they could give me was to port the rpm files to Ubuntu and use them. This is way beyond my experience level. I will go to the local electronics store and buy a cheap USB 2 hub to see if that works. I will post the

Barry, I have had success with NUT on Debian and an EATON 5E2000IUSB-AU 5E 2000VA/1200W UPS With 3 x OUTLETS which I believe is good value. I would believe the the EATON ?5E 1500VA/900W UPS With 3 x OUTLETS would work just as well. The 1500VA also uses the same batteries as the 2000VA so I would believe it would run its raited load longer than 2000VA. My eight drive RAID driver uses less that

Hi, I'm trying to find, & set up a compatable driver for a Tripp-Lite OMNI1500LCDT ups. Not having any luck with tripplite_usb, or usbhid-ups. Running nut 2.6.2-1 on Fedora 14. Installed from package. Suggestions? Dick Lawson [root at Muleyputer ~]# upsdrvctl start Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.6.2 Network UPS Tools - Generic HID driver 0.35 (2.6.2) USB

I/O errors with usbhid-ups and Tripp Lite SMART1500LCDT
Hi List, I recently picked up a Tripp Lite SMART1500LCDT while they were on sale to pair with my home server, and have tried getting it set up with NUT, since it seems to be supported. I can get the whole NUT stack up and running, but the driver seems to only stay up for a couple minutes before crashing out. I've uploaded the level 6 debug output of the driver (with my serial number

Tripp-Lite SMART1500LCDT
I bought this UPS to use with NUT. I've used Belkin, APC, CyberPower, Best, Powerware upses with NUT on dozens of servers beginning with RHEL3. http://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-Display-Protection-SMART1500LCDT/dp/B009TZTGWK Since this was advertised as USB HID, I didn't expect any problems. Bad idea (should have gotten the Cyberware with somewhat less runtime). Initially, it seems to

Cisco 1760 Multiline phone
I have a cisco 1760 phone running sip and I need to configure for our receptionist so that she can answer calls on more then one extension. What is the easiest way to configure this so that incomming calls go to the next availble extension? Does each extension on the phone need to be set seperately in the sip.conf file (see below for my example)? sip.conf file =================

[EXTERNAL] Re: Fixing Drops With SMART1500LCDXL & USB-HID Driver
Charles and Wolfy, Thanks for the replies. I added some responses below. I think I got the driver debugging right, but let me know if it is off. I should note: The CentOS 7.6 machine I have been testing with is a virtual machine (running on VMware ESXi 7.6). At least 1 customer and I have seen the same issue on VMs and physical boxes, so I don’t think that matters, but if it does let me know.

Thanks for the inputs. I’ll get CentOS 7.6 installed on a physical machine this week and follow up. Few responses and notes below in the interim. ”The log format looks okay, but I may not have been clear that I was looking for the log at the same time as when the kernel errors occur. So without the udev rules would be good.” Ah, sorry. Attached are these two files: 1-
