Hi. Could anyone please provide info on how nut makes ups restart after power is back? I've configured nut to communicate with APC SmartUPS 750 via 'newhidups' driver and this works w/o probs in case of shutting the system down. The UPS would stay on though. After the power returns, I'd expect UPS to restart so that servers would start either. This would never happen, and I have to manually power the servers on. I haven't found anything on this in the docs. Any clue? TIA.

Alternatively, there are a couple of UPS variables which can affect how it behaves when the power comes back: [battery.charge.restart] "Minimum battery level for restart after power off (percent)"; and [ups.delay.start] "Interval to wait before (re)starting the load (seconds)". -- Dr George D M Ross, School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh Kings Buildings, Mayfield Road, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH9 3JZ Mail: gdmr at inf.ed.ac.uk Voice: +44 131 650 5147 Fax: +44 131 667 7209 PGP: 1024D/AD758CC5 B91E D430 1E0D 5883 EF6A 426C B676 5C2B AD75 8CC5 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
