[LLVMdev] FW: A message to post please (EDITED, thanks): "Position available: C / C++ Developer: Compiler & Tools SDK"
Hi, Hope you can help. Grateful for your time. I was in touch recently requesting the drop opportunity below be shared with your distribution list (it was originally declined as hadn't provided sufficient context about LLVM. I provided the edited version, below, on 27th of January). Please can you confirm, has this been sent out to your distribution list? We have not had much response, so I just wanted to be sure! You would be willing to consider any additional edit requests or suggestions in order to satisfy your requirements. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. Latest embedded, multi-core, parallel and high performance computing technologies. Well funded emerging software tool vendor, with a unique proposition and a bright future. Location: Bristol, South West UK Salary: £32,000 - £37,500 (permanent employment) Start date: Immediate Environment: C, C++, Assembly, compilers, tools, SDK, LLVM, DSP, hardware resource utilisation. Successful proof of concept and ongoing commitments from major customers has created an innovative new C / C++ Developer role within an emerging business with considerable expertise, strong market opportunity and radically effective products. Advances in modern computer hardware, particularly the advent of multi-core and parallel computing CPU / GPU architectures has created a significant issue for organisations and software development professionals, and in turn a strong market opportunity: analysing application code performance, re-engineering and optimising the code to take advantage of today’s and tomorrow’s computing capabilities. Reporting to the CTO, your main remit is contributing to core development of two software products, both targeted at applications developers: the compilers and core functionality for data and hardware performance analysis and visualisation SDK, and optimised software libraries. The main product is a development tool to analyse software source code. This product is implemented using the LLVM framework to allow many target languages to be supported and to make use of the optimisation engines and developments that operate on the LLVM IR. An extreme / pair programming methodology has been adopted, for the best performance and innovation. This also promotes an expert collaborate team environment, with freedom to contribute fresh ideas and input challenges towards product development. You'll be working at the forefront of embedded and hardware technologies, addressing significant problems for major corporations and software development professionals worldwide. As the produce range evolves and expands, you will be contributing to many core and associated areas of functionality right across compilers, tools and SDK technologies. Urgently sought: Excellent C, C++ and low level Assembly. A strong working knowledge of LLVM, and experience of developing engines to operate on the LLVM IR. Strong compiler optimisation engine development skills would be a bonus. Complete software development life-cycle skills, including testing and debugging. Self-starter, excellent time management and prioritisation abilities. Flexibility and commitment to the success of a young growing company. Salary and benefits: £32,000 - £37,500 joining salary. Stock options. 25 days annual leave. 12 month salary review. Continuous learning and development. Career progression to potentially include team or technology leadership as the business grows. If this sounds like you, or someone you know: Please send a CV to the managing recruitment partner, Hendron Wood Resource Solutions: http://www.hendronwood.com/vacancy.php?ref=1415AG Selected applicants will be contacted for initial consultation by telephone prior to interview in Bristol, UK (initial telephone/video interview may be possible for those further afield).
