I've been looking around for DSP backend projects (like f.i. ADIs SHARC), is there any such ongoing projects to the knowledge of the list members ? TIA /Rob

ISTR somebody was working on a TriCore backend, check the archives. We are still missing support for hardware loops and VLIW instructions. Patches welcome! /jakob

It's unlikely that the source for it will ever be made public, but I'd be open to collaborating with you (or any other interested developers) on extensions to LLVM that would improve support for DSPs. -Ken
