freedesktop - Oct 2013 - [fdo] I need help setting up gnome the way I want.

I've been trying to make sense of what I had to do, but couldn't get my
head around some issues.
What would be the most appropriate way for me to talk to you guys
involved in the freedesktop project? Is there an IRC channel? is this
list appropriate? Any other list? A web forum?...

That highly depends on what your question is :-) It usually makes much
more sense to talk to the people running the XDG project you are
interested in directly. Most of the larger projects also have their
own IRC channels.
It might make sense for you to ask on a GNOME users/developers mailinglist.
Apart from that, for stuff which affects the Freedesktop project in
general, there is a #freedesktop IRC channel.

Ok, thank you.
Since I think my questions are related to the freedesktop project as a
whole, I'll show up on the IRC channel... let's see what where that
takes me...
