What is everyone using in the way of a rar/par utility? Does anyone use this to preserve important files? Google did not help me much here. Thanks! There is a free program to unpack a rar archive, but if you wish to create them you are required to purchase the program from the outfit that makes it. Everything you need to deal with par2 stuff is here: http://parchive.sourceforge.net/> Does anyone use this to preserve important files?I doubt it. tar and the like are much more common in the world of Linux/Unix/what-have-you. -- MELVILLE THEATRE ~ Melville Sask ~ http://www.melvilletheatre.com
