I'm running Samba 4 under daemontools as a supervised service. These services require that samba be fun in the foreground and not as a daemon. With Samba 3, there was an smbd -F parameter that ran samba in the foreground. This seems to be gone in Samba 4. Will samba -i do basically the same thing? Seems to on my test box. Thanks -- Greg J.
