Gluster users - Aug 2013 - not able to restart the brick for distributed volume

Hi All,

I am facing issues restarting the gluster volume. When I start the volume 
after  stopping it, the gluster fails to start the volume

Below is the message that I get on CLI

 /root> gluster volume start _home
volume start: _home: failed: Commit failed on localhost. Please check the 
log file for more details.

Logs says that it was unable to start the brick

Could you please shed some light on this

[Removing gluster-devel from CC list since its not a devel list issue.]

Could you provide all the log files under /var/log/glusterfs?
Seeing the brick log files alongside glusterd log file might
provide more context.

Rahul,
      The log snippets don't tell the complete story. Could you give the
full log files may be as a tar file to debug this further.
