not able to restart the brick for distributed volume
Hi All,
I am facing issues restarting the gluster volume. When I start the volume
after stopping it, the gluster fails to start the volume
Below is the message that I get on CLI
/root> gluster volume start _home
volume start: _home: failed: Commit failed on localhost. Please check the
log file for more details.
Logs says that it was unable to start the brick

cluster.min-free-disk working?
Hi,
have a system consisting of four bricks, using 3.3.2qa3. I used the
command
gluster volume set glusterKumiko cluster.min-free-disk 20%
Two of the bricks where empty, and two were full to just under 80% when
building the volume.
Now, when syncing data (from a primary system), and using min-free-disk
20% I thought new data would go to the two empty bricks, but gluster

bedup - De-duplication and snapshots

using it for backups - I rsync the relevent files to the disk and then
take a snapshot. I then deduplicate with bedup dedup <disk-mount-point>
What I am finding is that it is reporting a deduplication between the
data on the disk and its snapshot e.g.:
Deduplicated:
-
u'/mnt/floppy/_home/ftp/pub/Linux/Slackware/slackware-current/slackware/t/tetex-3.0-i486-7.txz'

(don't worry, I promise it is an external usb drive and not a floppy!)

acl and lazy_expunge plugins are incompatible?
Hello list.
Following two previous unanswered requests
(http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2014-August/097449.html and
http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2014-May/096261.html), I fell into the
same problem: ACL and lazy_expunge plugins do not work together.
I had lazy_expunge enabled working OK. Then I activated ACL plugin, and gave

Default permissions of /home/user..
Hello..
I've asked this question before without getting any further help really..
When a new user is added using "adduser" on 5.x (havn't really checked
if it's the same under 4.x or not), the default homedir permission is 755
(drwxr-xr-x) which to me, looks a bit insecure? It's of course pretty easy
to solve it by a simple chmod, but yet, isn't there anyway to
