Hello, I have recently tried installing Java on Centos 6.4 and have found that the wiki tutorial for this subject is quite outdated (the proposed method doesn't work on the new version as the spec file is outdated and there is no need to rebuild the rpm with nosrc file anymore). I would like to post a tutorial on installing Java on Centos that would be more up-to-date and referring to the newer available versions of both Centos and Java. As far as I know it is correct and applies to all current CentOS and Oracle Java versions. manuel
