Rails - Oct 2005 - Rails 1.0 RC1 fcgi problems

I''m no expert with configuring fcgi with Rails, but after lots of
struggling, I managed to get it working with Rails 0.13.1.

That was earlier today.  Then, I upgraded to RC1 and followed all the
instructions (including running "> rails . " in my app directory.

Now, fcgi won''t work... fastcgi.crash.log is full of:
[19/Oct/2005:17:11:21 :: 28484] starting
[19/Oct/2005:17:11:58 :: 28484] asked to terminate ASAP

(one for each fcgi instance), and when I shutdown apache, the fcgi
processes still run.  Any help?

Same problem here.
Running the slow cgi works though.
I must say that I''m a bit disappointed by the lack of info in the
errormsg.
Have you found a solution?
