Just wanted to share a success story with all of you. I''ve been working for the last month solid on a fairly large project for my church -- an online ticket sales system (in the same vein as ticketmaster.com). It was probably a 3-to-6-month project (in any other dev environment) that was finished well within deadlines. The project took about 30 days from requirements to a working, tested solution, and it went live two weeks later (yesterday). The first day, the client sold nearly 600 tickets in 4 hours with no problems whatsoever. I also wanted to express general thanks to the community and specific thanks to the following people who have helped: - François Beausoleil and Wilson Bilkovich for help with random questions and mind blanks. - Zed Shaw and Curt Hibbs for mod_scgi and SRR and help with (yuck) Win32 configuration. - Of course, DHH, Dave Thomas, and everyone else that''s out there writing code and documentation for the community. -- Brad Ediger 866-EDIGERS
