How to use ''rake appdoc'' ?
Hello, I would like to generate appdoc for my rails application. I followed the instructions and ran ''rake appdoc'' from application folder. It fails with message below. I tried this for completely new project or any other existing projects with the same results. Am I doing something wrong? I run Rails 0.13.1 on WinXP, Ruby 1.8.2 ############ C:\ruby_projects\support>rake appdoc (in C:/ruby_projects/support) rm -r doc/app rdoc -o doc/app --line-numbers --inline-source --title ''Rails Application Documentation'' -T ''html'' doc/README_FOR_APP ....... ..... rake aborted! undefined method `exitstatus'' for nil:NilClass ############ Thanks for any hint, David Marko _______________________________________________ Rails mailing list Rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org http://lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails

The only way I found to make it work is to run "rake appdoc", copy the command line into a batch file, and tweak the options until it works. Often, rdoc complains it doesn't recognize an option. The fix is to move the option in front of the list, and try again. Hope that helps, François _______________________________________________ Rails mailing list Rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org http://lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails
