Rails - Sep 2005 - Looking for suggestions on valdating incoming data from edit in place

I''m considering using edit in place AJAX stuff in the member profiles
for my
in development app. The one thing I''m concerned about is validation.
For
example I have columns like email and website_url that are validated in the
model. Obviously I''ll be validating them with edit in place as well and
am
looking for suggestion on how to handle it in the UI. Example code is very
welcome as well.
