Rails - Jun 2005 - where is "require_dependency" method defined?

I read the rails doc and it says "require_dependency" is a new kernel
method, but i can''t find it in the ruby source file or the pickaxeII
book.

Someone can help to answer?

It''s part of activesupport.  See 
activesupport/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb, around line 167 in 
trunk.
