There are some very nice diagrams up on the RoR web site. Unfortunately, they''re a little bit too high level for me to get lots of benefit from. The reality of the Rails app directory and where the files are and how they relate to one another might seem overly basic to all ye'' pros out there, but a diagram of such a basic thing to understand would be *exceedingly* helpful. For instance, nowhere on the diagrams are the Helpers mentioned, so where do they/can they fit into the process? Such a nuts and bolts perspective would be very appreciated. Would someone create a png of a diagram like this and put it somewhere where other beginners like myself can see it... maybe the RoR wiki? Thanks a ton! They might not be quite what you''re looking for, but they might also help :) Check out http://www.slash7.com/flashback/2005/03/and_now.html, it might be useful.> Thanks a ton! > > Regards, Abe B.

5 minutes + dia --> scary picture. I''ve attached how I think of what''s going on. Essentially from the perspective of control and an incoming request. It could do with some improvement, I''ve probably left out a few areas I haven''t played with yet.
