My app is working great under apache/fcgi on my dedicated server on textdrive, except for the root...i have the routing set with map.connect '''', :controller => ''home'', :action => ''index'' but i keep getting "Forbidden. You don''t have permission to access / on this server." when I check the apache.log it has this [Thu Mar 31 19:46:24 2005] [error] [client xx.xxx.xx.xx] Directory index forbidden by rule: redirect:/dispatch.fcgi it seems like no matter what I do, the root of the domain keeps giving me the 403. Do you guys have any ideas of any apache settings or rewrite rules i can add to remedy this? i''m using the stock .htaccess and we do have it set up under lighttpd in parallel, which also works great...until it stops responding...the ruby processes go into sbwait state and lighttpd has to be restarted most of the time for the site to start responding again...so far apache hasn''t done anything like this. -- Toby Sterrett 120 Decibel
