Please: a) Delete everything in /etc/shorewall b) Now follow the step-by-step instructions at http://www.shorewall.net/standalone.htm -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather who Shoreline, \ died peacefully in his sleep. In both cases, the HOWTO that you should be following is: http://www.shorewall.net/standalone.htm And if you have problems with the configuration from that HOWTO, then please include the output of ''shorewall dump'' collected as described in http://www.shorewall.net/support.htm. Disregard the HOWTO you are using and use http://www.shorewall.net/standalone.htm The HOWTO that you are trying to follow is for creating a two-interface router; you have a standalone computer.
