Hi All, I have a Xen 4.2 (stable) machine running a multitude of HVM based virtual machines. However, I''m having an issue getting a Solaris 10 build to boot. Backstory: I received the Solaris 10 install in a VMWare ESXi build with VMDK disks. I then converted the disk using the following command: qemu-img convert -f vmdk solaris_10_install.vmdk -O raw xen_solaris_10.img Current Issue: Upon booting the xen_solaris_10.img, I successfully get to the grub bootloader. However, when attempting to boot into any of the entries found in the grub menu, I receive the following error: SunOS Release 5.10 Version Generic_147441-12 32-bit Copyright (c) 1983, 2012, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. Cannot mount root on /pci@0,0/pci15ad,1976@10/sd@0,0:a fstype ufs panic[cpu0]/thread=fec208c0: vfs_mountroot: cannot mount root Does anyone have any ideas of how to resolve this? Could this be an issue with the way Xen is showing the HDDs to Solaris? Please let me know if you''d like me to post any more information.
