Dear all, I am very new to the area of virtualization and XEN. I need to install xen on my machine. i tried the methods given in xen user manual but was not successful. is it possible to install xen on ubuntu 10.04 ? Which OS is most suited for installing xen? I know this is a very trivial question on this platform but its important for me. Depending from what you need, what Xen kernel version do you want to run or want do to there could be different answers here. There are i.e. very active communities with SuSe and Debian / Ubuntu and a large audience within CentOS. If you prefer source based distributions Gentoo may be the top choice (i''m personally hardly prefer Gentoo for most cases). cheers and good luck, Niels. -- --- Niels Dettenbach Syndicat IT&Internet http://www.syndicat.com/ _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

But maybe a good idea is to ask the OP: What distribution do you /want/ to use?
