Hi. For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm a Macintosh developer. Right now, I'm at the MacHack conference (which runs from Wednesday to Sunday). Before I left, I grabbed the Vorbis sources out of CVS. Yesterday I got the library and a couple of examples building in CodeWarrior and verified that they worked. I'm going to try to get a QuickTime CODEC built, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get that done this weekend. Unfortunately, CVS isn't working for me from the conference, so I can't keep my source tree completely up to date and send patches back immediately. But I can tell y'all that it was pretty easy. I only had to do my own implementation of strdup(), fill in my own <sys/types.h> with a couple of types that are normally defined by the configure scripts (int64_t and the like), and put a bunch of type casts before calls to alloca(). (I think now that I have everything else working that I'll be able to include <alloca.h> to my <sys/types.h> and strip out the type casts.) Sometime next week, I plan to submit not only my patches but also some CodeWarrior project files (all XML, of course, so they can easily be put in CVS) which can be used to build a Mac shared library version of libVorbis as well as a couple of the examples. -- Chris --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/
