I've tried this with today's build, and I get the same result on a
Win98 machine, no crash on a Win95 machine. (There are lots of other
differences between the machines too, I haven't explored whether they
are significant. The only difference I know of in R-devel is that on
the Win95 machine I compiled with DEBUG=T.)
When I say crash, I don't mean a popup error box or anything, just
that the graphics window locks up. It doesn't allow you to make it
bigger again. It turns out that after you switch to a different task
and back to R, it wakes up again.
Just noticed it's causing internal Windows problems: my mouse seems
to not be able to go to the taskbar at the bottom of the screen while
the graphics window is locked.
