R devel - Apr 2001 - not able to download WinNT version (PR#922)

I keep clicking on the WindowsNT link and it keeps extending the path
name...
is something wrong?

No.  The `WinNT version' is in the directory you keep clicking on the link
in.  The link is there for back-compatibility reasons.

Try reading the ReadMe!

This is NOT a bug.

If you have got a question for which you don't get an answer reading the
docs, please write to R-help.


Read the readme in that directory. It says:
** The directories windows-9x and windows-NT are recursive links and
only
** there for backwards-compatibility. Please go directly to base or
** contrib to download R for all versions of Windows.
