Hi all, I''ve just rewritten the Puppet introduction from scratch: https://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/PuppetIntroduction I think it''s better, but I''m not convinced it''s a whole heckuva lot better. Comments are very much appreciated, especially if you can recommend a better approach to the document. I tried to organize it how I have been giving presentations, although clearly in far more detail, but I also wrote the whole thing in one sitting (with a sprained wrist, no less; yay), so it''s bound to fall short in plenty of places. We''re also actively working on building platform-specific pages to give an idea of what kind of platform support Puppet has, and we''re hoping to have a relatively sparse "features" page to give a quick run down of the kind of functionality Puppet has, or at least pointers to all the right places or something. If you have an idea for what should go in this page, please let me know (or just create the page and start adding content). Luke, Great job IMO! I love the comment about how we typically end up writing for loops that invoke ssh :) Best, Adam -----Original Message----- From: puppet-users-bounces@madstop.com on behalf of Luke Kanies Sent: Wed 3/28/2007 7:09 PM To: Puppet User Discussion Subject: [Puppet-users] New Introduction Hi all, I''ve just rewritten the Puppet introduction from scratch: https://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/PuppetIntroduction I think it''s better, but I''m not convinced it''s a whole heckuva lot better.
