Hi,
after a lot of fun with rpm, I just built puppet-0.23.0 packages for
Fedora and RHEL. Some notes:
* The packages are careful to preserve existing config files,
which puppet uses in preference to /etc/puppet/puppet.conf. You
still need to migrate to the unified config file as soon as
possible, since I will likely remove the oldstyle config files
from the RPM''s on the next release (in which case you wind up
with lovely .rpmsave files, which puppet won''t see)
* Fedora packages are making their way through the build system;
because the process for Fedora 7 has changed, those packages
will appear first in updates-testing. I plan on moving them to
updates on Tuesday if nobody reports problems
* RHEL packages are both in my yum repo[1] and in EPEL[2] - if you
use my yum repo, please switch to EPEL, I will stop publishing
RHEL packages in my repo in the near future.
