wine users - Mar 2012 - Football Manager 2010 doesn't work

Hello.

I want to install Football Manager 2010, with 10.1 patch. It has a gold rating
here: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=18296

The installation should work fine, but not. This appears when I execute the
setup.exe file:

If you read attentively, you'll see that it's rated gold for version
1.1.32, and I somehow doubt you're using that version...

Feel free to add an appdb entry and/or report a bug

I used to have this issue.

The solution is just copying the program files folder to your computer manually,
since the game runs like that.

However, be aware of the issues with the game not starting and needing the CPU
to be busy. I sketched up scripts for all my FM installs that got around 75% of
my machine busy so that FM would start. It got worse with FM 12. (I skipped 11)
