I am trying to use a Windows program called Rehearscore on Ubuntu 11.10. It is a program that plays the piano accompaniment to a musical to allow for rehearsal of the songs. I installed it without problems, but when I start the program there is no sound. I have other Windows programs running under Wine with no problems with the sound. I am using a Dell Latitude D620 laptop. Any suggestions are very appreciated! Thanks
I also having the same problem Sound is working properly for other Windows programs running under Wine.

You need a software synthesizer to be running to get audio in RehearScore. Install Timidity (or Fluidsynth) via package manager and start it in a separate terminal, e.g. timidity -iA
