samba - Mar 2011 - cache_traverse_validate_fn: key length too large

Hello,

We are currently installing Redhat v6, and came accross some weird
behaviour from winbind. We are member of many groups in our AD. When we
try to login with pam enabled access we get the following messages :
--
cache_traverse_validate_fn: key length too large: (1534) > (1024)
or
cache_traverse_validate_fn: key length too large: (4138) > (1024)
--

When we run winbind without cache "-n" the messages are gone, but then
it is much slower.

What does these messages mean ? Can someone explain this ?

Can you send us your winbindd_cache.tdb somehow? Please be
aware that winbindd_cache.tdb might contain sensitive
information, so it would not be a good idea to upload it
somewhere. Either send it to possibly me in private or open
a support case with RH to send it to their Samba developers.
