-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I want to share a printer among two linux computers, the printer section on the server (Mandrake 10.0) says: printcap name = cups [...] [printers] comment = All Printers path = /var/spool/samba browseable = no # to allow user 'guest account' to print. guest ok = yes printable = yes create mask = 0700 # ====================================# print command: see above for details. # ====================================print command = lpr-cups -P %p %s # using cups own drivers (use generic PostScript on clients). lpq command = lpstat -o %p lprm command = cancel %p-%j printer name = Impresora hosts allow = 192.168.1.253 192.168.1.254 127.0.0.1 #End of file The client is Debian, but I can't print. On the client side the /var/log/cups/error.log has: "Connection failed with error NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL" On the server side the I see no errors. There is link between two machines, and the it can see the shares on the client side... Which could be the problem? Thanks in advance! sebelk - -- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Visite www.solar.org.ar Software Libre Argentina Baje el manual para nuevos usuarios de GNU/Linux de http://www.solar.org.ar/article.php3?id_article=28 - -------------------------------------------------------- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBBviuOPxl5bTbF4ARAuxXAJ9qkxULS6pKGVNKkdi6Zaa3oDuifQCgg6ud TYdXH9/ooeu71mlluQNJmgA=dZcF -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
