Dear fellow Samba users, I have been searching high and low (google, mailing lists, FAQs) for an answer to this question in vain: Does Samba really not support "Copying networked files in restartable mode"? Hi Robert, thanks for your reply, but this SMBDownloader is a Windows executable using presumably Windows API. Does Samba (on non-Windows of course) offer equivalent functionality?
