Hi, I have installed a Windows Terminal Server, wich is a member of a Samba 3 PDC. I would like grant some users the right of logging into this terminal serverer with the terminal services client (mstsc). This doesen't work out of the box because they must be a member of the "Remote Desktop Users" group (or a domain admin). I tried to map the Remote Desktop Users group to the corresponding unix group with "net groupmap": Remote Desktop Users (S-1-5-21-1439455158-136671433-3190722721-555) -> rdesktop I also tried this mapping: Remote Desktop Users (S-1-5-21-32-555) -> rdesktop ... but none of the above mappings does work, the users still don't have the right to login to the terminal server. The Remote Desktop Users is a builtin group of windows servers, maybe there must be some special handling with this group. I'm using Samba 3.0.0rc2, on FreeBSD 5.1 thanx, bye, -- ------------------------------- ---------------------------------- Michael Bretterklieber - http://www.bretterklieber.com A-Quadrat Automation GmbH - http://www.a-quadrat.at Tel: ++43-(0)3172-41679 - GSM: ++43-(0)699 12861847 ------------------------------- ---------------------------------- "...the number of UNIX installations has grown to 10, with more expected..." - Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson, June 1972
