Indeed, when i try "smbclient -L win2000_workstation -U GUEST -N", i only receive: Added interface ip=172.16.1.250 bcast=172.16.255.255 nmask=255.255.0.0 Got a positive name query response from 172.16.5.159 ( 172.16.5.159 ) Domain=[LOS PINGUINOS!] OS=[Windows 5.0] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager] Sharename Type Comment --------- ---- ------- Server Comment --------- ------- Workgroup Master --------- ------- and with smbclient //the_same_win2000_workstation/a_share_directory/ -U GUEST -N i can acces to the files shared.
