samba - Nov 2003 - Hangs while prowsing a samba 3 share with windows xp prof.

Hi,

I have problems with Samba 3.0.0 on my debian box. I first noticed this 
problems after the last dist-upgrade of my debian installation.

When I'm reading a file from the smaba share and browsing another share 
from the same samba server, I have several hangs and browsing is very 
slow. It seems that there are some timeouts. But I can't figure out a 
configuration problem, especialy because the same configuration worked 
fine before I made the updgrade.

You can notice the problem especialy when playing an MP3 File with 
Winamp from a Samba share and browsing another share at the same time. 
Than the music will stop several times. But on the other hand simply 
copying a file does not matter at all once the copying has startet.

Could anybody give me a hint please? I have not found any answer in the 
archives or on the net...
