Hi, I am currently using samba-2.2.8a on RedHat 7.3. This was installed from a .src.rpm with the following options added to the samba.spec file: ... --with-acl-support \ --with-profile \ --disable-static \ --with-ldapsam \ I am now trying to build samba-2.2.8a on RedHat 9.0. This goes ok from a standard samba.spec file but when I add the above options [specifically --with-ldapsam] I get the error below. + cp -pr examples /var/tmp/samba/usr/share/doc/samba-2.2.8a + exit 0 Provides: audit.so block.so config(samba) = 2.2.8a-2 libnss_winbind.so libnss_wins.so libsmbclient.so.0 pam_smbpass.so pam_winbind.so perl(smbldap_conf) = 1.00 perl(smbldap_tools) = 1.00 recycle.so samba = 2.2.8a Requires(interp): /bin/sh /bin/sh /bin/sh Requires(rpmlib): rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1 rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1 rpmlib(VersionedDependencies) <= 3.0.3-1 Requires(post): /bin/sh Requires(preun): /bin/sh Requires(postun): /bin/sh Requires: /bin/sh /usr/bin/perl config(samba) = 2.2.8a-2 glibc >= 2.1.2 kernel >= 2.2.1 libc.so.6 libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.0) libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1) libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1.1) libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1.3) libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2) libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) libcrypto.so.4 libcups.so.2 libdl.so.2 libdl.so.2(GLIBC_2.0) libdl.so.2(GLIBC_2.1) liblber.so.2 libldap.so.2 libncurses.so.5 libnsl.so.1 libnsl.so.1(GLIBC_2.0) libpam.so.0 libpopt.so.0 libreadline.so.4 libssl.so.4 pam >= 0.72 perl(Exporter) perl(smbldap_conf) perl(strict) perl(vars) Obsoletes: samba-common samba-client samba-swat Processing files: samba-debuginfo-2.2.8a-2 Provides: audit.so.debug block.so.debug libnss_winbind.so.debug libnss_wins.so.debug libsmbclient.so.debug pam_smbpass.so.debug pam_winbind.so.debug recycle.so.debug Requires(rpmlib): rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1 rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1 Checking for unpackaged file(s): /usr/lib/rpm/check-files /var/tmp/samba error: Installed (but unpackaged) file(s) found: /usr/bin/pdbedit RPM build errors: Installed (but unpackaged) file(s) found: /usr/bin/pdbedit Has anyone got a .src.rpm file installed on RedHat 9.0 or any ideas or pointers on doing this from a .src.rpm file? Thanks, Jason Doran
