Ext3 users - Feb 2002 - hardware error or fs corruption?

Would the following be symptoms of hardware problems or just a corrupt 
fs? Will fsck tonight when a new power supply is going into the 
machine.

Kernel: 2.4.17
Drive: Maxtor D740X-6L 80GB connected via HPT366

Hi Mohammad!

This looks like an UDMA/Harddrive failure. Try disabling udma on the drive
(hdparm -d0 /dev/hdxxx), if the errors still occur your drive has grown
some bad sectors, replace it ASAP.
