samba - May 2002 - Mysql samba authentication

Hi ,
could any one tell samba user authenticate from mysql database and give
permissions to read write ane execute and at the same time it should browse 
in window Network Neighborhood and authentciate with mysql server

Look into pdb_mysql - ctrlsoft posted this to samba-technical recently.  This
is a plugin from Samba 3.0.

But this is a complex area - and does not remove the need for unix accounts.

You probably want to look for a simpiler solution.

In order to support mysql authetnication under samba you need to
install nss_mysql and my mysql module. Only workjs under the latest
CVS versions of HEAD (samnba 3).
