samba - Apr 2002 - Samba 2.2.2 gives problem

Hello Samba team

	I have installed Samba 2.2.2 on HP-UX 10.20 machine. when I try to open one
text file and read it through a C program, it is unable to get the file
pointer and the log file stores the following message

Is the owner's uid in /etc/passwd?
