samba - Apr 2002 - Clients not adding printer port

We are using a samba 2.2.3 print server. When we add a printer to the 
client machine (Win2k) a port *should* be added but isn't (ie; under the 
printer properties, Ports tab).

On the old version we were using a port is added pointing to something like 
\\prtsrv\printer1. I have a feeling that a default option has changed 
somewhere.

Can anyone shed some light on this ?

Daniel,

Look in:

samba-2.2.3a\docs\htmldocs\printer_driver2.html

if disable spoolss=yes then printer port is "Local Port"

and

samba-2.2.3a\docs\htmldocs\smb.conf.5.html
(disable spoolss, load client driver, [print$], etc)
