Symptom:
Samba doesn't work with Windows98
Cause:
Windows98 uses only encoded passwords.
Solution:
Use regedit to enter the following new values into the registry :
Enter a new DWORD "EnablePlainTextPassword" at
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\VNETSUP] and set
this value to 1
