samba - Mar 2002 - \\[server] is not accessible

hi
I configured samba-2.2 on RH7.2
when I open the Network Neighborhood I can see the samba server. but
when I try to open it, I get
an error dialogbox:
"\\[server] is not accessible" then :computer or sharename could not
be
found ..."
what's reason?

Do you have a firewall running, and if so, are the proper ports accessable?

I think that reason is encrypted passwords,
set encrypt passwords = yes  in smb.conf
and create users using smbpasswd -a username
