Hi everybody! I've problems with Samba and Win98 clients. Everytime I try to copy some files from a Win98 machine to the server, the progress bar freezes after a while and then after a minute or so I get an error message that the 'network ressource isn't available'. The server runs Samba version 2.0.7-3 and the OS is Debian Linux 2.2 r3 (Potato). And this is what error.log says: testclient (192.168.300.6) connect to service testuser as user testuser (uid=1000, gid=1000) (pid 222) [2001/10/29 20:48:55, 1] smbd/service.c:close_cnum(583) testclient (192.168.300.6) closed connection to service testuser [2001/10/29 20:53:09, 1] smbd/server.c:main(641) smbd version 2.0.7 started. Does anyone have a clue, what it could be that copying from a Win98 to Samba cancels after some seconds? I also saw someone else posting the same problem, but with Win2k clients (he wrote the message in german). SO, PLEASE, IF ANYONE JUST GOT A SUGGESTION OR IDEA, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
