Hello, is there a way for samba to forward name resolution requests to a dns
server and return the answer back?
client --------> wins --------> dns
atlas atlas
client <-------- wins <-------- dns
10.10.1.8 10.10.1.8
That chart should explain what I am looking to do. I have people who have wins
support but not dns.

ahhh, yes, this is _exactly_ what I am looking for. I already had people using a wins server but dns proxy makes perfect sense.
