I am unable to join a machine to my domain using Samba 2.2.2 with Windows 2K Service Pack 2. I believe that I have it configured to be a PDC. When I try to add the machine to the domain through the Win2k machine, It gives me an Access denied error but joins the machine to the domain using the OLD machine name. I did all the diagnostic steps. I can access the machine just fine through windows, I just can't change the machine name. ------------------------The log returns this result: [2001/10/14 04:20:26, 0] rpc_server/srv_samr.c:api_samr_set_userinfo(672) api_samr_set_userinfo: Unable to unmarshall SAMR_Q_SET_USERINFO. I forgot to mention that it works just fine if I create the machine trust account manually. ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: "jason" <jason@sermonradio.com> Reply-To: <jason@sermonradio.com> Date: Wed, 24 Oct 2001 06:27:51 -0600 I am unable to join a machine to my domain using Samba 2.2.2 with Windows 2K Service Pack 2. This should help track this problem down. Thanks. Jeremy.
