Hi all, I am using mandrake 7.2 witf samba 2.07. I have problem with the client that can't print. There is no error comment show up on the client..just keep quite and "hang" until I push Ctrl+alt+del to abort the task (printing). Before I start print from windows, I make sure the server is fine, by print one file and goes fine. After I failed print windows soon I check the server by type lpstat and error comment arise, it say like this : lpstat: Unable to connect to server: Connection refused, I try to fix this problem by reading diagnosis.txt and printing.txt that come together with samba distribution, but unfortunately it don't help. My printer is canon bjs210sp. Here is may smb.conf : [global] workgroup = dom server string = Samba Server %v printcap name = lpstat load printers = yes printing = cups log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m max log size = 50 security = share domain master = yes preferred master = yes domain logons = yes dns proxy = no [homes] comment = Home Directories browseable = no writable = yes [printers] comment = All Printers path = /var/spool/samba browseable = yes guest ok = yes writable = no printable = yes create mode = 0700 print command = lpr-cups -P %p %s # using cups own drivers (use generic PostScript on clients). lpq command = lpstat -o %p lprm command = cancel %p-%j Please help me...I really appreciate your help....
