Hi,
I need your help. Now I installed the SAMBA (2.0.7) in my Sun E4500 server
( solaris 2.7). I can not connect from my NT workstation.
When I try to connect from NT to unix(Solaris 2.7)
c:\ net use g:
\\gemw-q01\test /user:user1
I get the following messages:
The password is invalid for \\gemw-q01\test
Type the password for \\gemw-q01\test:
System error 1240 has occurred.
The account is not authorized to login from this station.
And get other messages in the file /var/opt/samba/log.smb:
[2000/06/05 14:07:48, 0] lib/util.c:(151)
Failed to set socket option SO_KEEPALIVE (Error Bad file number)

smb.conf :

workgroup = SFO
null passwords = true
guest account = user1

comment = For the test
path = /export/home/user1
