samba - Nov 1998 - Samba printing with LPRng?

Has anybody ever used Samba with LPRng?  I would like to write a wrapper
for "lpq -l" which Samba will use to pass information back to Windows
95
and Windows NT clients.  The information is all there, but it's obviously
different from the standard BSD lpq.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

The support is in there but seems to be missing from the documentation.

	printing = lprng

works for me.

Hi

just try "printing = LPRNG" (or something similar) in your
smb.conf.... ;-)
