wine users - Nov 2009 - Keep getting this error msg and cannot find a fix.

Ok, so trying to play world of warcraft in 1.1.33. 

Running ubuntu 9.10

I get this error.

Failed to change to directory '/home/jason/.wine/dosdevices/c:/Program
Files/World of Warcraft/' (Permission denied)

anyone got any ideas?

Try typing "ls -ag" the .wine folder should say drwxr-xr-x if not
you'll need to adjust the permissions. See if that works.

Tried this, and ran the command from the other post:

drwxr-xr-x  4 jason    4096 2009-11-22 22:59 .wine

still not working :(

How do yout start wine ( Wolrd of Warcraft)?
As a normal user?

I just log into the computer, the only login, then go apps, wine, programs,
world of warcraft.
