wine users - Nov 2009 - Segmentation fault

I get this message quite a lot now when i try to install games, how do i fix it?

Reinstall video drivers. Some 9.10 fail to properly install all parts of video
driver, including 32-bit libraries.

I have also found that incompletely downloaded files might give this error
(actually happened today after trying to run a file in an unfinished torrent by
accident).

While we are at it, the download/build of Wine may need to be redone as

Reinstalled video drivers, uninstalled ppa and am now using 1.1.31

I get this error:
jamie at jamie-kubuntu:~/virtual-drives/1$ wine borderlands.exe
wine: could not load
L"Z:\\home\\jamie\\virtual-drives\\1\\borderlands.exe": Bad EXE format
for


And when i try and install FEAR (gold rating) i get this as well:
jamie at jamie-kubuntu:~/virtual-drives/2$ wine setup.exe

I might try the same file on another installation and see if it works there
